RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s annual ‘Dussehra’ (Hindu festival symbolising victory of good - Lord Ram - over evil) speech is considered by the Hindu organisation as an address to the nation. The chief talks about the various challenges before the country and lays down the ‘Sangh’s’ (RSS family) line on key issues. Given that the BJP derives its ideological inspiration from the RSS, the speech has assumed even greater importance since 2014 when the BJP led government came to power.
